Counseling Services:
First Family Counseling offers therapeutic counseling services for Individuals, Couples and Families. We know that finding a Therapist is one of the most important decisions that anyone can make. We work hard to build your trust and help you become the best person that you can be!
Accepted Insurances:
Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Magellan Behavioral Health, Homewood EAP, Lyra, and Meridian. Some companies may reimburse you for services if you are seen by an "out of network" provider. Call your insurance company for more information.
Services:
Individual counseling: 50 minutes per session with one person.
Couples counseling: 50-60 minutes per session with two people. Couples counseling is for couples who are married or unmarried.
Family counseling: 50-60 minutes per session with two or more people who are in a familial relationship.
Free Counseling:
First Family Counseling offers free counseling for the Michigan Department of Human Services. If you have a open case with DHS your worker can refer you and/or your family to us for free counseling. Call the office for more information.
Please note that insurance companies cover different services according to your insurance plan. Check your benefits regarding your insurance coverage. All services are also offered on a out of pocket fee scale for the uninsured. Check our fees on the website or call the office for more information.
